Apple has launched the latest iPhone operating system in the form of iOS 4 which comes with several enhancements such as multi tasking or background tasks.
Apple apps developers have come up with the latest apps which have the ability to perform fast app switching. Apple has allowed third party apps to perform certain functions in the background as well as an easy way for all apps to save their states to enable this fast app switching.
Evernote : It allows the user to download and upload notes while the app is not open.
Dropbox: While supporting fast switching it seems to support uploading/syncing in the background.
Zagat To Go: It supports fast app switching and also has the ability to add events to the Iphone calenders. The developers have also upgraded the graphics so that it is compatible with the high resolution screen of Iphone.
